First, you will visit the House of the Virgin Mary, which is located just 8 miles from Ephesus in the picturesque town of Aladag. The House of the Virgin Mary is a sacred site located just outside the ancient city of Ephesus in modern-day Turkey.
This sacred site is believed by many to be the place where Mary, the mother of Jesus, spent her final days, this site has been a place of pilgrimage for Christians for centuries. Visitors can see the room where Mary is said to have lived, as well as a chapel and a well that is believed to have provided her with water. The house of the Virgin Mary is believed to date back to the 1st century, making it an important historical site as well.

After discovering the house, the Archbishop of Izmir declared The Virgin Mary House a place of pilgrimage in 1892. Pope VI on 26 July 1967. Paul visited here and held mass here.
After visiting the house of the Virgin Mary, you will continue on to the main site of Ephesus, where you will be able to explore the incredible ruins of this once-great city.

Upon arrival in Ephesus, you will visit the beautiful Celsus Library, built in the early 2nd century AD. You will also see the Grand Theatre; one of the most impressive structures of Ephesus and once St. Where Paul preached.
Afterwards there will be a visit to Hadrian’s Temple just across the road. Lunch will be served in its garden, which resembles a typical Turkish village.
After lunch, visit the Ephesus Archaeological Museum, which contains two wonderful marble statues of Artemis and 25,000 artifacts found in the ancient city, before visiting the nearby St. A stop will be made at St. John’s Basilica.
