You will meet with your guide at the hotel or port. During the Asia and New City Tour you will discover; Spice Bazaar: Is also known as Egyptian Bazaar, because it was built with money paid as duty on Egyptian import. It is the oldest bazaar in Istanbul and also the second largest covered bazaar after the Grand Bazaar in the world (first grand covered bazaar is Grand Bazaar). The L – shaped bazaar was built by architect Mustapha in 1660, a few years before Yeni Camii (mosque) and consists of 88 vaulted rooms. You will be able to find delicious Turkish delights, different aromas of various spices and also you have a chance to find souvenirs.
Rustem Pasa Mosque: The most elegant and attractive of Istanbul’s smaller mosque, designed by architect Sinan for the Grand Vizier of Suleyman. The Magnificent, which is situated near the Spice Bazaar is famous with its exquisite and colourful iznik tiles and geometric designs.
Golden Horn: Is still one of the finest natural harbours in the world which is dividing the city of Istanbul in two parts which are called “Old city” and “New City”. During the tour it is possible to see Balat, long City Walls, Metal church of St. Stephen and etc. Golden Horn is approximately 8 km long and the widest part in the entrance from the Bosphorus.
Bosphorus Cruise: Istanbul is a unique city in the world which is situated in two continents. The Bosphorus which separates the European and the Asian part of Turkey is a channel of water 31km long connecting the sea of Marmara to the Black Sea.
During the amazing Bosphorus Cruise between two continents Europe and Asia, it is possible to see Beylerbeyi Palace, ancient wooden villas of Ottoman architecture and also modern luxurious apartments, Rumeli Fortress, also you will have a great view of the old city peninsula with Topkapi Palace, Hogia Sophia, Suleymaniye Mosque, Galata Bridge, Maiden’s Tower etc. Rumeli Fortress (From the sea – No interior visit): This historical armament is the biggest fortification of Istanbul which was built by the Ottoman Sultan Mehmet II (Conqueror) between 1451 – 1452 for control and protect Bosphorus. Bosphorus Bridge: The first suspension bridge which was constructed on 29 October 1973 connecting Europe (located at Ortakoy) and Asian sides (located at Beylerbeyi), at a length of 1510m, is the 17th longest bridge in the (contemporary) world. During the Asia and New City Tour, also you have chance to take some deathless photos of the both sides of Istanbul.
Camlica Hill: The highest point of the city which is located on the Asian side of Bosphorus in Uskudar, offers unequaled panoramic view of Istanbul and Bosphorus at 24 hours. Here, is the unique part of Istanbul where you can see all cities beauties. We will have lunch at the top of the Camlica Hill.
Dolmabahce Palace: Dolmabahce Palace, western style palace of the sultans, is the largest and much magnificent of all the palaces on the Bosphorus, was built by Sultan Abdulmecit between 1843 and 1856. It was the last residence of Ottoma Empire. Meanwhile Ataturk, the first president of the republic of Turkey, is also stay and died here in 1938.
